EDGAR ALLAN POE LOCKET Necklace
One of Baltimore's most treasured literary legacies was the one left by Edgar Allan Poe, the troubled and haunted poet and writer. This Halloween, I am pleased to present you with a spooky mini-series dedicated to Mr. Poe.
This Victorian-inspired petite pendant features a portrait of Mr. Poe set in a functional locket adorned with an iridescent blue glass cabochon. The locket itself is of a tarnish-resistant antique silver plate and measures nearly 2". The total pendant drop from the screaming gargoyle bail is about 3".
It hangs suspended upon an 18" tarnish-resistant silver plated chain adorned with holo quartz that flashes a ghostly blue at some angles, rather like labradorite, and a pair of spectral hands beckoning from the beyond.
