Winter is Live at Sihaya & Co!

Hey friends! It's after Halloween, which means it's about time to start the slow, inexorable slide into Winter Hygge mode. This year, I wanted to balance comfort and joy with a touch of holiday glam, and so this year's Winter Box, Velvet & Snow, was born!

It features eight items to help you get through the long slog of Winter, including two items from a new vendor, Blood Moon Botanica. Though the company is new from the box, the powerhouse behind it is not. Britton was the original owner of Haus of Gloi, and we are so excited to have her back. She will be offering both a skin serum and a perfume.

We also have a lot of returning favorites-- Immortal Mountain is supplying a chocolate bar, Old Growth Alchemy is sending along a warming tea, Paintbox Soapworks is whipping up a sugar scrub just for us, and Willow Waxcraft is preparing one of their signature wax melts. In addition, there will be a candle and lip color from yours truly.

In addition, there's been a bit of a shake-up to our Winter Candle Collection. The bestsellers are returning, but there has been a small update to a returning scent and three new scents to peruse.

Updated! Aurora Borealis 2025: A flurry of sparkling flakes, a serene blanket of white, and snow-blanketed trees reaching towards a magical night sky. Creamy vanilla eggnog kissed with peppermint candy canes and a touch of white woods.

Fireside Tales: This scent is in honor of the nearly-forgotten tradition of telling ghost stories around the Yuletide hearth. Crackling boughs of cedar and birch, glowing embers, and the soft spice of saffron.

NEW! Golden Brocade: A luxurious take on the traditional holiday pomander. Satsuma orange, sugared mandarin, and spicy clove brushed with gold flakes.

NEW! Le Matin en Hiver: Nothing beats sleeping in, then having a quiet breakfast in the company of twinkling lights. Warm croissants topped with lightly spiced honey butter and sprinkled with fresh rosemary.

Northwind Forest: A pristine, snow-capped forest of balsam pine, winter winds, and a hint of frozen apples.

The Court In Splendour: Glad Tidings from the King! The scent of the Tudor court at Yuletide. A festive blend of bayberry and tart cranberry on a bed of warm balsam and spice.

NEW! Thundersnow: Our wintry take on a Dark & Stormy cookie. Warm Gingerbread made with molasses, then paired with strong black tea with lemon.

Winter Stars: Vanilla chai with foamed milk, sweetened with brown sugar.

As for the triple layers candles, there are two returning and one new. For lovers of ecclesiastical resins, Veni, Veni is there for you. A fan of cozy, outdoors-y scents? Woodland Midwinter is back. But the third is new, and was crafted to embody the qualities of Winter light as it fades from golden hour to deepening dark. Named for the Emily Dickinson poem, There's A Certain Slant of Light features a trio of atmospheric jewels ready to accompany your quiet afternoons.

That's all there is for now. There may yet be a few surprises later in the season, but this is the core of our collection, ready to be shared.

Warmly,
Christina
