Hey gang. Given everything that's happening in the US right now, it's felt like a really awkward time to be promoting my business. I was really struggling to come up with a theme for the Spring Box that didn't feel frivolous or dismissive. But one night on my evening doomscroll, it occurred to me that I have a platform. Small as it might be, I have something to say, and a place to say it, and if nothing else, I can work on making the world incrementally better.
Sihaya & Co has always striven to be inclusive when choosing collaborators for our Seasonal Boxes. We've not been shy in our support of queer, trans, and racially-diverse makers. But this year, we're doubling down, starting with our Spring Box, United In Diversity. It is a box brimming with items from queer and trans, Black and POC, disabled and neurodiverse makers. We're all what the right sneeringly calls "DEI," and we're damn good at what we do. And we're standing together, because divided we fall. The country was built on stolen land, on the backs of enslaved peoples and immigrants. Our strength and potential for greatness lies not in some moldering racist past, but in the scientific, cultural, and civic contributions of our diverse populace. Hate never made any nation great, and together, we are indivisible.
We hope you love our offerings. In addition, new to the box is StunBunny, a talented pin and accessory maker. They donate to the ACLU with every purchase made in their shop and will do so for every pin sold through this box. They inspired me to match their donation, so an additional $5 will be donated to the ACLU for every box sold.

As far as other news goes, there's only a little. Ginger Fox has been temporarily discontinued due to a component availablility issue. I'm working on a reformulation. Additionally, the Secret Menu will be coming later this February. Apologies for needing to push it back a few weeks. As some of you know, my little family has been frequently ill this winter (kindergarten is rough, y'all!) and it just makes more sense for me to space out my collections so I don't bite off more than I can chew. It'll be underway soon, and I appreciate your patience if you've been waiting to see if one of your faves will make a limited return.
