Our Autumn box, AUTUMN REVERIES, just launched and it is full of delights. For this box, I wanted to highlight the dichotomy of Autumn. It is a season that urges rest after fruitfulness, hedonism after the long toil of summer. And yet it often evokes a passionate frenzy of creativity among its adherents, a wild skirl of visionary artistry.
This box honors that duality: the vibrant flame of the leaf and the deepening shadows of the forest. It's a little bit Pre-Raphaelite, a little bit Florence & The Machine. It features a perfume from Nui Cobalt Designs, a sugar scrub from Paintbox Soapworks, tea from OId Growth Alchemy, caramel from Virtuoso Confections, a crystal & flower essence from Cattail Apothecary, and a candle and lip color from yours truly.
Additionally, our Autumn Candle Collection has gotten a bit of an update. Some favorites have returned, and have been joined by the more popular Autumn limiteds from last year, as well as two new scents. I am also offering what remains of Blackbriar Coven and Sacred Autumn 2023 while supply remains. This is my first year since 2016 that I have not offered Persephone Descending, and I miss her! Don't count her out, she might come back someday. But in the meanwhile, I wanted to try something new.
Here is the official lineup:
Autumn Glory 2024: Soft cashmere, tonka bean, vanilla, patchouli, oud, ginger, cinnamon, and pumpkin. Note: this scent has been reformulated due to a discontinued component.
Autumnvale Cafe: The scent of a corner coffee shop in fall- pumpkin spice lattes and cinnamon chai.
Campfire Coffee: Morning fog in the Appalachians, the scent of toasted marshmallow still clinging to your jacket, sugared pine sap, and the perfect cup of piping hot campfire coffee. Note: this scent has been minorly reformulated.
Ember & Mallow: Vanilla marshmallows toasted over a smoky Autumn bonfire.
Little Familiar: Two ambers, vanilla musk, sugared petals, oak leaves, and the brush of soft fur.
Mabon Moon: Crisp McIntosh apple, ripe plum, soft spice, pear, and turning leaves.
Samhain Dusk: Dry amber, cassia, clove, the smoke of distant bonfires, and the faintest breath of orange peel.
The Invocation: Palo santo, earthen sandalwood, wood rose, oud, and clove.
Blackbriar Coven: Darkest blackberry, tart blackcurrant, patchouli and tobacco incense, and a hint of woodsmoke under the moonlight. (Limited)
Sacred Autumn: Rose incense, golden amber, dragon's blood, oud wood, and a swirl of pumpkin. (Limited)
SHIPPING NEWS:
My TAT is temporarily at 3 weeks. This year's family vacation is a bit later than usual, so I am pre-emptively adding some padding. All orders placed Aug 5 - 18 will begin processing on the 19th. The hope is to have all orders that do not include a box shipped by end of Aug, with a return to my usual 2 week TAT in September.
